There are many Bloggers, vloggers and women within the Natural Hair community whom have truly inspired me.
1. Taren Guy, Taren916
Starting in 2011, Taren Guy began to document her hair journey, resulting in more than 16 million views on your YouTube channel and over 100,000 subscribers.
She is an advocate for Autism, Natural hair and not being afraid of hair versatility. You should never become a “prisoner” of your hair, as she calls it. Natural Hair simply means when you STOP relaxing. If that means you choose to opt for wigs instead of braids as a protective style, or you choose to flat iron your hair from time to time. Its okay. Don’t feel bad. Natural Hair doesn’t mean hair bondage. Embrace it. Its just hair. Just love it!
One of the most influential vloggers is Naptural85, taking pride in all natural products. You won’t catch her purchasing many store bought products! Cowashes and conditioners ranging from clay mixes to whipped shea butter puddings. You can catch her on YouTube!
3. Curly Nikki
Curly Nikki has been getting a ton of hits, especially with her book “Better than Good Hair.” curlynikki.com.
Just a few. These ladies have inspired me to truly be comfortable in my Natural State, to be “Beautifully mane.”
