How do you keep up your press?

How do you keep up your press?

Happy Friday, Naturals!

Got my hair pressed over the weekend to see how long my hair grew. Y’all, my hair grew so much. I can’t wait to show you in detail on YouTube! 😉

Got to be honest though. I miss my curls. Its like, I wanted to see how long my hair was after being heat free for four months. And I did, and now I am so ready for my curls to bounce back, which I am sure they will.

What I am thinking of doing is bantu knotting my hair while its pressed, damping my strands a little bit and simply using my favorite styling product. Probably rock my bantu knots until my next wash.

BTW: I am doing a length check video!

Within the past three months, my hair has grown SO MUCH. Thanks to less heat and protective styling, as well as scalp massages and tons of water.

I am going to do a length check video soon about the whole straightening process, why I don’t like hair salons and how I plan to grow out my hair in the next three months. Stay tuned!

Over the weekend…

Over the weekend...

So, just like any other naturalista…I tend to get stuck in one particular style that I love wearing.

Currently, that style is bantu knots. Seriously, I cannot get ENOUGH!

This is me over the weekend at a Sushi place in the metro Detroit area. What are your thoughts? Share them below!

Happy Thursday naturalista’s!

I got new earrings yesterday from For Love 21 for a steal…Guess how much?

Five bucks!!! Insane, right?

You like my look for the office today? I am all about color if you haven’t noticed when it comes to my personal style, regardless of season.

Did you know that exercise stimulates hair growth?

Did you know that exercise stimulates hair growth?

Today marks the third day of me working out! Waist band and all. Tryna get that hourglass figure.

I think I am getting the hang of it. 😉 And yes, ladies! Exercise, paired with tons of water and eating right truly promotes hair growth.

Sweat is your body’s natural moisturizer, therefore your natural hair benefits from a good 30 minute workout at least three times a week.

Im on my way to healthy body and hair! Share your thoughts and comments below.
